Was here in June 2022. Wish I had more time as I would have loved to canoe down the river.

This is a place for contemplation. It is very quiet. Peaceful. And calm. You can be one with nature. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city. All by yourself.

Listening to the wind as it blows gently through the trees. Following the gentle flow of water across fallen tree trunks. And watching the ducks float gently by.

Therapeutic.

Walked in because I coach skating and wanted to see their rink. Such a gorgeous facility and they have a real curling rink, not just curling circles on a hockey rink. Chatted with a program director (?) of the curling area and he was super informative. They have learn to curl on Tuesday nights 7:30 for $25 a person. We brought our figure skates from home and skated on the outdoor skating loop. The ceiling of the hockey rink was stunning

Nice showers for $6 cad, almost unnecessarily big… I paid for one shower and got the key for an entire large gym changing room to myself with ~4 showers, a few sinks, multiple bathroom stalls and 50+ lockers. It was slightly eerie but nice shower nonetheless. Suggested time was 20-30mins.

Went here for a shower during our camping trip to Banff. The price for a shower is too high in my opinion. 6$ a person and no discount for kids. The water is way too hot. The people are nice tho and I would go back but only if I didn’t have another option. I gave 2 stars because the price is too high.

Review about showers - $6 is a massive rip off. There is only one male shower and one female shower. You can’t control the water temperature or pressure and you have to press the button to restart it every 20 seconds. I think $3 would be fair. Currently very exploitative

If you are looking for a cold and filthy dirty shower after a long 15 mile hike, The Fenlands Banff Recreation Center is the place for you! This picture is solely from the contents of the bathroom counter that I wiped down so I had a place to set down my clothing and shower supplies, which was coated with body hair, yellow liquid, rice and dirt. The floor was even worse. It was a lovely place to get clean!

We did not use the facility itself but we parked there all day and walked into town. Other free public parking is only 3 minutes more of walking towards town at the train station. Both serve as a great free parking location close enough to get yourself into town.
