This is the 3rd time in a month I have been disappointed with either the food or the service or both. We went to dine in, a week and a half ago and there was an Oilers game and to be fair it was extremely busy. We were patient, the service was slow (that’s fair). We ordered a pizza to eat in and some chicken strips to take home. We waited over an hour and they brought out the chicken strips (which were packed for take out). We were told the pizza takes longer than the chicken and they left our take out order with us knowing we had a pizza we were eating in. 20 mins later our pizza showed up and it was delicious (the sitting chicken strips, fries and gravy went in the garbage when we got home)

Fast forward to today we order delivery, and the pizza was inedible. It was stuck to the paper on the bottom of the box, the only thing that kept it from completely falling apart was the piece of paper attached and stuck to the bottom of the complete mush of a “crust”. To give an idea, the paper and pizza had become one. It looked as though they had taken a can of pineapple and dumped it right in the centre under the cheese which didn’t help matters. I was planning on just letting go of the awful pizza until we went to share our Oreo New York Cheesecake. First, there appeared to be some sort of milk in a container (maybe this was supposed to be whip cream but when you package it on top of a pizza that is sweating it is going to turn to liquid, the chocolate sauce was warm though). Half of the crust was missing off the bottom of the cheesecake (maybe this is where the Oreo crust was supposed to be? But if you are ordering this don’t expect the Oreo crust that is advertised.

We used to really enjoy this place. In fact this used to be one of our go to spots for dine in and take out. It’s unfortunate because we know the potential it has. But at this point I won’t be throwing any more of my money away to support your small business.

Came here with a couple of friends and really enjoyed the Tomato Soup! It comes in a huge bowl! It tastes amazing too! Just the perfect item to eat on a cold 🥶 Winter's Day! The grilled garlic toast that comes with it is perfect for dipping into the soup.

The Cobb salad 🥗 was quite large and delicious too. The presentation of everything is quite good too.

I enjoy the old English Style Pub set-up. It makes for a friendly environment to have a few laughs and good conversation together.

I noticed that kids are welcome here too. That is nice to know because eating at fast food chains with kids is quite limiting.

The service here was decent too. Just a tip to the restaurant management to pass to servers. WHEN BEING PAID IN CASH, NEVER ASK IF SOMEONE NEEDS CHANGE. ASSUME THAT THEY DO, PUT IT ON THE TABLE AND THEN YOU WILL GET TIPPED WHAT YOU GET TIPPED. Easy fix, but important.

In town for the weekend and just about every pub I went to lacked the service. It took forever just to order a drink. Dirty tables etc. I decided to try The George in Okotoks and was pleasantly surprised to get a beer, a clean table and a requested sport put on all within 5 minutes. Our server Lesley was absolutely amazing, friendly and puts her customers first. Cold beer and good food. Thanks Lesley! We’ll be back.

The food was really good. The spare ribs were to die for. I would have given it five stars but they started the live music too early in my opinion. Most patrons could not even talk to one another because the music was so loud. My suggestion would be start the live music at 9:00 p.m. not during dinner time.

Busy fun evening tonite and Alexis handled a full house with grace and charm. Made everyone feel welcomed and looked after. She did an excellent job. The food was delicious hot and plentiful. It was a delightful cozy snowy Sunday evening.

This is a great pub for sports. It’s really comfortable. It has a massive beer selection and a decent wine selection ( Kim Crawford)!

My husband and I are new to okotoks and discovered this little gem our first night here. I can't say how many times we've been back and tried all their specials. The food is outstanding with very generous portions. I'm originally from England and this place takes me right back home. We are so glad we found this place. Weve taken family and friends out to dinner here and they all love it. You know you're a regular when the server just brings you your drink. If you haven’t been, you have to go. To all the staff there - you guys are amazing, the food is amazing. Thank you.
