I had an issue with my iPhone that I couldn’t use my cell data for a few weeks. I explained to the gentleman at the counter that I went to my carrier who told me there was no problem with the SIM card and that the phone has an issue. So I checked with the repair shop in Victoria who opened up the phone to check where the problem was and told me he couldn’t fix it and suggested to buy a new phone. I was hoping that the Repair Factory could help me keep the phone since the phone itself has no other problems.
He asked a couple of questions and quickly diagnosed what could have been a problem and looked it up. Once he found the solution to this, he helped me to fix it and it was all done within 10 minutes.
It didn’t even require to check inside of the phone. What helped this problem was the proper diagnosis made by the technician at The repair Factory which probably requires a lot of experience and wisdom. I’m so happy that I decided to try The Repair Factory.

I thought about this shop as I plugged my phone in tonight. My usb port seemed clean, I'd even picked things out with a toothpick and several metal picks, but it still didn't have that "snap" feel like they have when new. For $10 one of the (blatantly) expert techs at The Repair Factory put my phone's usb port under a microscope, and carefully renewed the entire interior port zone somehow, which still performs like new to this day, like 5 months later. I'm actually a tech myself and am totally embarrassed to admit I have zero clue how he did what he did. The level of expertise and attention to detail is stellar here, IMHO it's highly advisable to bring your bork devices here to get repaired. It's going to be done right, and prepare yourself for pleasant surprises.

I have used The Repair Factory twice and both times I have been dissatisfied. They are not transparent, not communicative and they have a sneaky clause on their invoice that you can’t see but it absolves them of all liability once the invoice is paid. I would recommend using Johnathan from Mountain Mac he is wonderful, honest and caring.

Shoshana, Drew, and company were amazing. My MacBook had multiple problems that they helped me through, and I ended up needing to send it back to Apple through no fault of Repair Factory. They were super supportive every step of the way, talking me through it, making sure I got a return on the part no longer needed, and were very generous with making sure I had a loaner so I could still do my work-from-home job. The repair ended up being beyond the scope of what they can do locally, but what I care about is the service along the way, and that was without a doubt 5-star.

I took my phone in for a battery/port related fix a month ago they replaced the port and it did not fix the phone. They told me the phone wasnt able to be repaired and didnt look for any other underlying causes. They charged 40 for looking at it and then 40 for the port repair. It doesnt appear like the port was fixed as there was still dust and debris and they seemed extremely stressed in the office which raised some red flags so i decided to take it to SK for a second opinion since i didnt really believe that it was actually unable to be fixed. SK did a temporary fix today for 20 bucks while i was in there it ended up being a simple connection problem with the ribbon cord I am currently typing this review on my "non repairable" phone... I feel bad considering the repair factory is a small business but i dont feel like they are trustworthy and i unfortunately will not be going back.

I brought in my iPhone7 to get the shattered screen replaced. From their quick response to my request for a quote, to their obviously adequate stock which had what I needed, to their very fast service (get your phone there by 11am for same-day service), it was a great repair experience. It was so good to have a professional, prompt experience at a trustworthy place. Thanks!
