This is always our to-go place for date night. Been coming here for 5 years and we love the service. Bettyanne is amazing. This girl is quick and on top of everything. The staff is great Especially the newer ones. Quick at learning and no time delivering food and drinks. The food is delicious as always. Highly recommend this pub/restaurant.

Normally I would suggest this place to eat. As it's normally one of the better places in Stettler for food and or accommodation. It is however the place to go for a good steak in town. No one will argue that (normally).

However tonight it just missed the mark. I appreciate 20% off the Steak that wasn't cooked properly cooked Blue in place of medium-rare. If we knew the steak would be put in the microwave we wouldn't have sent it back. Excessive grease and zero flavor came with my steak quesadilla. The server had good Intentions but was just too much for us to enjoy any type of atmosphere. We could have had a better meal in prison with the same service. Paid the bill RELUCTANTLY 15% tipped because Christmas is around the corner.. left there with a $50 bill feeling very ripped off 😕 won't be returning for a long while at least not on a Sunday.. The lesson is if you don't deliver on the order please take it off the bill. Do not insult a client with a 20% discount hoping that 20% might come back to you on the Bill even though you were still charged for food that wasn't even eaten because it wasn't cooked properly. The texture of the Steak w nuked rubber it wasn't chewable (microwaved) good steak melts in your mouth!

Food was and always is fantastic, but Shawna is who I came here to review, more than anything. What an absolute doll! Great sense of humor, attentive, and just overall such a good vibe about her. Don't think we've had the pleasure of her serving us before, but I do so hope we get the privilege next time as well.

Date night last night went to the town pump amazing food waitress was okay she kinda forgot we were sitting there and then when we paid we probly could've walked right out cuz no one was around would've left a bigger tip but was a lil disappointed but the food was amazing so all in all was worth it

Food: Food came out fairly quick and was pretty decent. Could use a bit more seasoning but not bad. I found the fries to be really addicting.

Service: Server was nice and fairly attentive. Had to wait for water to be refilled a few times even though there wasn't much people in the restaurant.

Atmosphere: It's got the pub restaurant atmosphere with the old style wood and vlts in the corner. Was fairly quiet when we came in but we also came at a weird time 3pm in a Wednesday.

Town pump restaurant and lounge is a delightful establishment! Betty Anne, Jan, Melody, Anita and the entire staff are fantastic! Always felt at home when I was in or just walking by with wonderful smiles and waves!! Cuisine is TOP SHELF and always on point!! I will certainly returning when I return to that region of Alberta!!
