I had an amazing massage today with Aoom, came out feeling like a brand new person. There are also 2 other massage therapists at this location, Nicole & Adrienne which are also amazing, you can't go wrong with either of these ladies. I choose whomever is available based on my schedule.
After the massage I went across the hall to visit Amber, 1st time having a facial with her, again another 5 star treatment.
Stop into Tranquility Day Spa you can't go wrong!

Aoom is AMAZING. I've seen her twice now and have had 2 of the best massages of my life. I can't say enough good things about her! Tranquility Spa is really nice, all the staff are friendly and it's a great experience there!

I don't know how many times I've come to Tranquility, but again, Aoom for the massage, and Krissy for the pedicure, ALWAYS give top notch service. The point of a spa is relaxation, and that is all I've ever known going here. (Updated Feb 1, 2024)

Shout out to Chrissy! She did a great job, attention to all my details , easy to get along with and funny! Best pedicure I have had a in while, I also had my eyelashes tinted with no burning or irritation!! That's big for me as I have super sensitive eyes. I would recommend her and the spa for all your needs!

Ladies and gentlemen I believe I have found the fountain of youth... or the closest thing to it yet.

Recently I was treated to a facial at Tranquility Day Spa. I had the privilege of being worked on by Krissy Murchison. I chose the dermaplaning facial and oh my goodness it's the best thing on this planet.

My experience was amazing and so very peaceful. Tranquility Day Spa, was exactly what I needed. It's truly the most tranquil, clean and calming environment.

Krissy holds standards higher than any other esthetician I've met. She's punctual, professional, very clean, knowledgeable and has a great personality and sense of humor.

Her hands are ingenious tools that literally took years off my face. On top of feeling rested and at peace, she minimized all my fine lines, balanced my complexion, made my pores smaller and removed all blemishes and unwanted facial hair. My sensitive skin was very happy with the glorious products she used. Oh and it smelled so yummy. I kinda wished I was eating it not wearing it.

I cannot wait to go back!!!

This is the place to go for a massage if you're anywhere near Sundre. Julie (the owner) has a great brit accent and is said to do an awesome job: I was often at the store next door to her (volunteering with my wife who owned Better Off Sold when it was there) and we always heard rave reviews from all her customers, people would walk in to there all stressed and tense, and then awhile later they walk out all warm fuzzy mushy gooey happy and refreshed.

She has other girls working there that do various other types of bodywork going from your traditional stuff to more obscure therapy, just about every flavor you can think of. The rooms are clean and nice, the spa is filled with yummy aromatherapy which hits you right when you walk in the door and soothes you, they have a fountain and some zen style decorations which add to the effect.

The prices aren't bad, especially considering it's a full on day spa. It's about half of what you'd expect at one of the yuppy California spas (or perhaps the one in Calgary which has the same name, though I don't think they are related at all) but hey, here you are in beautiful country small-town Sundre, you are in the center of a art community and the busiest little shopping area in town.

It's good to get your spa time in eh? Of course it is. And whether you are an oil rig worker, lumberjack, stay-at-home mom or posh celebrity, you deserve to treat yourself to this place.

One caveat, if you schedule stuff on the off-times there may not be anyone around until your appointed time. So don't freak if the door is locked and nobody is there until a few minutes before your appointment when POOF all of a sudden your person appears.. it's been known to happen, yup, it's a small town, life is slower here and people don't stress.
