We bought a whole animal from a reputable local producer who delivered to VP. Cutting and wrapping job was nicely done, but we were missing more than 80 pounds of meat according to industry standards and comparable product at other meat packers. We called VP to ask if some of our meat was overlooked and were told that's all there was. We expressed concern that industry standards were vastly different than our yield and VP management said industry standards aren't meaningful. We won't be returning to this business.

I have used Vermillion Packers for over 15 yrs, they have the best smoked bacon . I have taken there bacon on hunting trips, family get togethers, and every one loves it. There bacon is always they first one to go, & when I travel to see friends they always ask me to bring some, which I gladly do. There bacon ends are just as good. I am not the only one who thinks so, when I order my bacon slabs I am on a waiting list like every one else, and I do not mind waiting, because the product is so good.
I love the way they package there hamburger in 1 & 2 lb. packages, and there pork chops are to die for as well. Never mind all the other products they displace in there freezers, some times to much to chose from.
Take the time to check them out you will not be disappointed.

I use Rick for all my processing weather it's game I've shot or beef I've bought. These guys have never let me down. Only local meat from local farmers sold here. How many stores can you go to where they personally know the farmer whose meat you are buying?

Cut, quality, service, they do it all. The Mennonite sausage is tops for me, but you can't really miss when it comes to their sausage.
