Great service with the Homes by Dream: the salesperson we dealt with, (initials A.L. ) was always very pleasant no matter how many times we interrupted her during her computer work, she always looked up and gave us her full 100% attention.

Do NOT buy with homes by dream. Not only will you wait months longer then your estimated possession to get into your home. You will have then waited to get into a poorly built house with builders who couldn't care less about quality.

- walls that aren't straight
- concrete work that is unstable and improperly done
- drywall left unfinished
- missing insulation in the attic
- incomplete work that never gets fixed
- improper backfill on the foundation causing a slope TOWARD the house putting our foundation at risk. (They claim this is settling but there is no way it should drop a foot and only around where they "backfilled". They did not pack it down properly and that caused this issue. Those back stairs used to sit on the ground that is how much it sank.)

And when you reach out to them you either get no response at all or told its your problem even when it is a huge quality concern on their part or even a safety issue. Pictures attached. Save yourself and buy a house with a reputable builder for the same insane price they are trying to charge these days.

Moved into my home two years ago and for the most part the house is great and the sales staff were good. However after moving in we learned that the AC unit was not hooked up correctly. After a couple weeks they sent someone out to connect the power, at which point we assumed the system was working. This year summer started and we quickly realized that it still was not working. I contacted the company and explained the situation and asked them to come fix it again. They responded and said my warranty ended two months prior. Should I have realized it was not functioning correctly sooner yes. But I was hoping that given it was never hooked up correctly from the start they would rectify the issue. I threatened to write a bad review and they then said they would come inspect it. Over a month later I have not heard back. I have hired someone to fix it and we discovered that the unit was never charged with refrigerant.

This is also not a one off issue. Getting my one year walk through scheduled and to have those items fixed even though they were minor took months and I had to file a claim through the home warranty company to get everything completed.

They are the worst company to deal with. Would never buy a house from them again. Worst customer service. And the warranty is terrible. This company sucks!

This is a review of my personal experience with Homes by Dream. The experiences I had with Homes by Dream were dependent on the individual I interacted with. Some experiences were great and for those I would give a 5/5 however some experiences were poor and for those I would give a 0/5. So my overall rating of this company is 3/5. They have a beautiful show home and for those who are not sure exactly what they want in a new home Homes by Dream offers things in groups so when you choose for example a particular color theme there are certain other things bundled with that so it makes the process of choosing a bit easier for such persons but other persons who are more creative may find this restrictive. The show home staff varies depending on who is in the office. Some were clear with communication and very helpful while others were not.
