Just wanted to inform anyone who uses this company for their accounting services. Please don’t use them, they have once again messed up our taxes costing us over $15,000 that needed to be paid back to CRA. When we first went to Colleen in 2023 I asked her to make sure that everything from past years was caught up and she said “yes everything was caught up” but it wasn’t. Then for 2024 we get a massive bill owed of $15,000 yet when we came to her regarding this she replied with “well you never asked me to go through the past years” this to me was unprofessional and immature. Fast forward to 2025 to find out she never submitted my fiancés business income tax from 2023 but she submitted it March 12th, 2025. This company is unprofessional, irresponsible and immature, they should not be doing peoples taxes if they’re not going to complete the taxes properly or submit them on time.
Therefore I’ll be contacting CPA and getting them investigated and I hope she loses her license so she cannot screw over anyone else. No one deserves it.

We chose Wasaga Tax & Accounting because of the number of positive reviews to negative reviews.
When dropping our documents off, there were a couple we couldn't print out to which we were assured they could obtain through CRA although we did offer to email to them.
It didn't take as quick as we are used to - probably a couple of weeks to a month before we heard back. During this time, my husband left a voicemail hoping to hear back and to confirm all documents were received.
When it came time to pick up our documents, I noticed they did not have the documents we offered to email in along with a document I did not know I could submit. During this visit is when I felt a little uneasy as the woman seemed irritated not at the situation but at me. I would like to add I was very apologetic for the document I didn't know I could submit. Over a couple of days, I sent in the required documents and communicated via email to clarify some things.
When they were done this second time around, my husband went to pick them up. He was not aggressive or rude, but he asked why his voicemail was not returned to which the woman said "what do you want us to do? Call you and tell you we received your voicemail?"
When it came time to pay for everything, we also found out that we were charged for them doing it a second time around. My husband then said that he tried calling beforehand to confirm that they had all necessary documents. The woman added that there were also a lot of email communications as well between us.

tldr; service is not up to par with how much they charge

FAIL- DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!
This woman is so incredibly unprofessional and down right rude. She lacks class to operate her business. I am requesting she be investigated by CRA. I suggest others here do the same! Why bother to offer tax services you do not offer? Claim to be an accountant and is she even? She only wants to do turbo tax for you! Do not bring her your 200+ pages, she gets rude and insists CRA doesn’t need them.
I will be complaining to both the city of wasaga beach and requesting CRA does an investigation into this woman. This is suspicious to me, why she would offer accounting services? - yet has zero desire to perform any such actions. I question her ethics as a local business. My advice: RUN! I was going to post her rude emails but I will just leave them in the evidence pile where they belong.
What a disappointment and waste of time. Highly sensitive documents not even submitted to CRA! Imagine? Wow. Just criminal if I do say so myself. Do NOT trust her!

We left the area several yrs back and used a different tax service. After 4yrs we haven't moved back but we went back to Wasaga TAX because they were professional, thorough and honest. It's worth the drive.

I came to pick up up my taxes which I dropped off to them a month ago. I called a week and a half ago to give them andeciaon on a question and no one ever called me back. We asked a question and the woman answering was harsh. Then I had a private conversation which she over heard and flipped on me. Told me we were being ride to her and her staff and we could get our taxes done somewhere else. Meanwhile while I was not warm talking to her so how could I be ride. So after a month I have no taxes done will never come back do t worry you do not have to threaten me.

Starting a business can be overwhelming. Colleen has been very insightful and overly helpful anytime we need help or just have questions. She also is great at taking care of our personal tax as well. I would definitely recommend WTA to friends and family.

I just left this business, today and am disgusted that I need to feel bad and frustrated by this company because of ongoing issues with CRA and my returns. I have had 4 years of taxes done by this company and they have had to listen again and again to ongoing issues with my case, they did provide tax returns and support but the ongoing issues that keep happening due to CRA and the frustration that it causes myself and this company is beyond belief!!!!

They were acting on my behalf with CRA but today I had to listen to attitude from them that we have done all we can, we have spent more time then we should have with this, unless it's anything to do with our accounting then you know what we have had enough.

Well I must say after spending 3 hours myself with CRA about some possible accounting errors on my return that are further adding to the last 4 years of grief dealing with them and now its the accounting companies attitude too. I lost it!! myself telling ok maybe even yelling at them that I have to feel bad and argue with them about what's going on?

What are people supposed to do! I am sure that there are many cases that have been as bad or worse than dealing with mine! It was like adding insult to injury today!!

I get it that it is frustrating but it's the same for everyone! But you know what this is the business you are in and these are the issues that need to be sorted out!! And now with COVID and all its issues on top of an accounting company that just seems to want to wash there hands of everything!! Pun intended!

Just to follow up on the response from company as listing patrons as the issue with attitude and abuse, just stay away if you need anything other than something simple or you to will eventually get the attitude, rudeness and blame issues.
