Location is Location when staying in small Town Alberta,
I love staying at this place and have stayed several times / working in the area.
Great Place, unload your stuff right at your door, Staff is friendly and keep the facility clean as they can / the rest is up to us (clean up after yourselves).
WIFI reception is reasonable.
Only complain I have is the Barbeques available / almost 1 for every room. They are all ready for the re-cycle bin / need new ones. Extremely dirty and most of them are inoperable.
Keep in mind the guests at the establishment should be cleaning the BBQ's after each use / doesn't take to much effort to clean a grill after you use it / just like at home or maybe they don't clean theirs either.

First off, I've been here a few times now for work, and I wouldn't stay anywhere else. The rooms are private cabins, large showers, extremely clean, and super cozy.
Secondly, Wally has ought to be the nicest person I've met in my entire life. He is so very kind, caring and understanding. When he told me he had barbecues outside nearly every room, I was sold right there with that alone. Also, puts on a wicked barbecue every second Thursday for his guests, which have always been phenomenal. The potatoes are my absolute favourite.
If you are looking for a place to stay in Swan Hills, whether it be for work or just passing through, this is the place. You won't regret it. No noisy neighbours, very awesome and accommodating staff, and overall a nice, quiet stay. And if you're lucky enough to have Wally's barbecue... well, if ya know, ya know.

The accommodations are great for work crews or travelling. Private and comfortable. The staff are friendly and happy to help in any way they can. The owner has a BBQ for customer appreciation regularly that really goes beyond what you might expect. Well done

I stayed at the Welcome Inn this past summer for work and I was not disappointed! The suites are spacious, stand-alone cabins, which allows for more privacy since there is actual outdoor space between each unit. The property is massive, so if you have a larger vehicle, you will have no trouble finding a spot to park on the lot. The suites are very clean, come equipped with a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker, and have a very roomy shower. If you’re in the mood to grill, there are BBQs conveniently located in front of the units. Plus, the owner, Wally, hosts a customer appreciation BBQ for his guests every 2nd Thursday (the guy can cook!). Wally and his staff are super friendly and definitely make you feel welcome and comfortable. Excellent customer service!

I think my favourite part about this place is that it's pet friendly. I travel everywhere with my cat, so being able to stay at places that allow pets is everything to me. If you bring yours and need some outdoor space for them, there is a trail around the side of the property and along the highway that was great for daily walks. If I ever need to stay in Swan Hills again, whether for work or for leisure, I would definitely stay at the Welcome Inn again.

We stayed about a year ago and I still think about how the owner went absolutely above and beyond. We ended up working until right around midnight the night that they had the customer appreciation bbq. As soon as I got to my room the owner called and asked if he could fire up the bbq for us and make some supper. Any time I’m back in the area I will be staying here again. Thanks Wally!

I stayed at the Welcome Inn for several weeks. All the suites are separated units. There are plenty of barbecues for cooking meals. The owner puts on a customer appreciation barbecue every second Thursday. I enjoyed my stay. I recommend this establishment!

It was the perfect place to relax after a long days of work. The rooms are extremely clean and well-kept, also the location was very quiet.
The owner and the staff were extremely friendly and dedicated.
